Shallot Red Gourmet 400g Pack
From the same breeders that produced the superb Golden Gourmet shallot, An early to mature, red-fleshed variety with a spicy taste, excellent for use in salads and cooking. Crops 26 weeks from sowing. Plant February-March (unless otherwise stated) by setting the bulbs 15cm (6") apart in small blocks or in rows 30cm (12") apart, pushing them well into the soil. Lift when the leaves turn yellow, dry in the sun and then store in a cool, dry, frost-proof place. 400g of shallots (approximately 15-20 bulbs) will plant a row of about 3m (10'). 7 - 10 Days HEALTH BENEFIT: High in potassium and vitamin C.
